An Innocent Heart

Through the facade of being tough and a tomboy, there’s a girl you should see. She laughs, she smiles, she pouts, she’s self-conscious, she’s afraid, she’s lonely, but above all, she sees all. She has friends but doesn’t know whether to believe it or not. She notices the way her friends have slowly left, whether it be her fault or theirs. She notices the way couples look at each other with loving and adoring eyes. She notices how many of her friends are in healthy and cute relationships. She notices how everything has changed. She notices the loneliness. Though she notices, she doesn’t know.

Through the facade of it all, there’s a heart and truth you should know. You should know that her heart is fragile. You should know that there are many bruises and cuts. You should know that she is scared. You should know that she doesn’t know if she’s fully healed. You should know she doesn’t know what to do………you should know that she’s not really that tough. You should know she just wants someone to love her. You should know that she just wants someone to keep her company forever. You should know she just wants happiness in her life. You should know that she just wants somesone who will talk with her, take walks with her, watch movies with her, dance randomly with her, smile with her, laugh with her, travel with her…be there for anything and everything with her.

….she just thought that you should know how innocent her heart actually is.
